✨⭐🌟Memorial Day Weekend BLOWOUT✨⭐🌟

Raymond Generations Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

$59.99

🍇In the Vineyard The grapes for the 2015 Generations Cabernet Sauvignon are grown in some of the best vineyards and appellations in the Napa Valley. The majority come from two vineyards on the west side of St. Helena known for sandy soils that produce berries with sweet, ripe tannins. The remaining grapes were grown from a meticulously farmed knoll-top vineyard at the corner of Oakville Cross Road and Silverado Trail as well as the Cafaro vineyard in Southeast Napa, right outside of Stags Leap. By blending grapes from these renowned appellations, we are able to make a wine that truly represents the best of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and honors our five-generation history of making wine in the Napa Valley.

📝About the Vintage The unseasonably warm temperatures in the early growing season in the Napa Valley in 2015 resulted in early bud break and bloom. Colder temperatures later in the season caused uneven fruit set and resulted in a smaller crop than previous average yields. Winemakers and vineyard crews worked diligently to pick and sort the best berries. Harvest began as early as July 22nd, one of the earliest harvests recorded and concluded by mid-October. While drought was still a concern for most of California, Napa Valley received 75% of normal rainfall for the water year.

🍷Wine Profile Dark ruby in the glass, our 2015 Generations Cabernet Sauvignon opens with alluring aromas of concentrated blackberry with brambly and mineral notes. This big and full, velvety wine offers a lot of density with a very brooding finish. Flavors of cassis are accented by a touch of black licorice with a beautifully long finish on the palate. Well balanced with a full-bodied mouthfeel and intense flavors, enjoy this wine now, or allow it to age for the next 25-30 years.

Finca Origen 2012

Single Vineyard Malbec Blend

🍷Tasting Notes Grainy oak, blackberry, and raisin form a three-note nose. Tartaric acidity lifts an otherwise ripe and raisiny palate, while flavors of raisin, black plum, and vanilla finish with tobacco notes. This Malbec blend follows the recipe of very ripe fruit, lots of oak, and tartaric boost; drink through 2028. MICHAEL SCHACHNER, Wine Enthusiast
